This database lists their old address and their new address.\u00a0 The National Change of Address (NCOA) database is incorporated within <em>iAddress<\/em>\u2122 (available by subscription).\u00a0 Processing your job through NCOA will allow you to update your customer lists with your customers\u2019 new addresses. Additionally, the Canadian Marketing Association\u2019s (CMA) Do-Not-Mail suppression list is included within NCOA module of <em>iAddress\u2122<\/em>. <strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0This list targets those customers who have chosen not to receive marketing mail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>What is returned by NCOA?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">When a job is processed through NCOA it will return one of 3 possibilities:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A Matched record: The name was matched and a new address is returned.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A Nixie record: The name was matched to a deceased individual or a resident who has moved but did not provide a new address. These records should be removed from the list.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">No match: This resident has not moved or did not inform Canada Post.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Terms of Use Requirements for NCOA<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Canada Post requires that all users of NCOA processing services obtain a Terms of Use ID number. This number is assigned after agreeing to Canada Post\u2019s terms of use on their web portal and must be updated annually. This can be reached at the following link:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.canadapost.ca\/moverdata\">www.canadapost.ca\/moverdata<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">There are 2 different types of Terms of Use numbers (ToU ID):<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Service Provider ToU ID:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">This is required by any company that will be providing NCOA services to their clients.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>End User ToU ID:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">This is required by any mail owner that wishes to use the NCOA processing service.
