There are 2 ways to create this print file:<\/p><ul><li>Work with Canada Post\u2019s data team. This takes longer but does provide access to a fuller range of demographic data than is available in iAddress<sup>TM<\/sup>.<\/li><li>Create the file through the iAddress<sup>TM<\/sup> PCT Module in real-time, using the instructions below.<\/li><\/ul><ol><li><strong><u>Importing your Target Postal Codes<\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Select<strong> <em>File&gt;Create Job<\/em><\/strong> and select your input database. Please note these lists must be full addresses.<\/p><p>Run <strong><em>Address Management &gt; Correction\/Validation<\/em><\/strong> to activate these files in the PCT module.<\/p><ol start=\"2\"><li><strong><u>Creating a PCT List<\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Select <strong><em>Address Management &gt; Postal Code Targeting<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p><p>If you have included a suppression and\/or seed list, identify the appropriate file on the PC List, Seed List, and Suppress List tabs. A report will be produced with the following information.<\/p><ul><li>Job name, date, and time<\/li><li>Total number of pieces created<\/li><li>Total mailing price<\/li><li>Statistics on the PCT job<\/li><\/ul><p>You can make changes to the job by revising your <strong>Filters<\/strong> criteria and clicking <strong>Mailing Estimate<\/strong> again.<\/p><ol><li><strong><u>Creating a PCT Mailing<\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Once you are satisfied with your PCT job, select an option to continue.<\/p><ol><li>Converting your results to a print file:<\/li><\/ol><p>If you wish to create a Machineable or Special Handling or want to create labels for your PCT mailing, click <strong>Convert to Mailing List<\/strong>. This will return you to the Select Address screen with the PCT addresses as the input file. You will be warned that the PCT data will overwrite your original input data. Select <strong>Yes<\/strong> to continue.<\/p><p>Continue to <strong>Presort &gt; Sort<\/strong> and select the appropriate Postal Code Targeting option.<\/p><ol start=\"2\"><li>Converting your results to a print file:<\/li><\/ol><p>If you only want a print file of your PCT results, click <strong>Create Mailing<\/strong>. A summary report will be produced along with a file of PCT addresses.<\/p><ol start=\"2\"><li><strong><u>Designing and Printing your PCT Mailpiece<\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p>Your PCT mailpiece must conform to Canada Post\u2019s design specifications for PCT mail including the appropriate indicia.
